AT&T release date????

yup...actually you have 15 days now...but what i usually do is i just tell them i want to break the contract even if i have to pay the termination's fee......right after that they send you to the retention's department right away....the customer service in the retention's department is extremely nice....they will wave you upgrade fee and most likely even give you credits

Moderators, this thread is kind of dead in my opinion, we've all pre-ordered the phone and know the date.

Is it normal for a phone that isn't even release yet to be back-order? my status says the phone is back order on ATT

I would assume this means your order may not have made it in time to make it out with the first batch of preorders. They probably had a specific number for the 19th and anything past that number goes out when they get more.

Alright. Went to the local ATT store. Asked about the HTC one: "Nope! It's not for preorder until the 16th!" I say "Are you sure??" He checks and sure enough, it is available for pre-order. Her says "Ok, it is 99.99 for the 16GB model." I say "But they only come in 32GB or 64! Are you sure??" "Oh, sorry that is the HTC First"

Long story short, my wife and I pre-ordered at the store and also got the two Media link devices.

I have the black evo lte. Almost a year old and not a scratch on it still. I work construction too. I'm thinking the One will be of similar quality.

That said, I'm jealous of the white and silver evo every time I see it

Lol. Hearing stories like this, and Verizon employees mistaking a phone with discontinued instead of remodeled, along with my personal experiences with Sprint, and I'm pretty much convinced that a lot of in-store employees other than the manager have no idea what they're doing.

This is why i stay far away from AT&T reps.. no disrespect to any reps on this forum but.. the only time you should go into a AT&T store is for a replacement or buying a phone that has already been released

yea me too, the two att shops i have here around my area are basically run by high school seniors

Finally was able to hold one at a Boomsound Lounge in Franklin Square, Philadelphia. (Part of their HTC One Experience Tour)

Amazingly built device! What's remarkable is that it feels like a solid chunk of metal. My iPhone 5 feels light and hollow and you can heat it rattle sometimes. The HTC One has a great solid feel unlike anything I've felt before. With this device, I don't think the situation for HTC in the market is that dire. After you buy it and show it to your friends who have Samsung devices, they will be blown away too. What's going to sell this device is strong word of mouth.

Can't wait for 19th.

How about display?

Display is amazing. But if you've seen the Droid DNA, you've seen this too. I don't think there will be another display that will beat this one this year.

HTC Zoe is amazing and I think I'll be using it a lot.

THe double tap multitasking is very fast and more useful than stock android.

Isn't it amazing how untrained the average AT&T employee is?? It's like dealing with the government. They better straighten up training, or alternatives will be here sooner or later.
