I wouldn't even be comfortable doing this. The emails I received were very specific. Nothing about in person trades.

I haven't even received an email about it, at all. I indicated I was doing a trade in when I added the phone to my cart, but beyond that I haven't seen anything regarding the trade in at all.

Wow you guys still trying to figure out in sending your trade in , i sent mines the very same day i received my Note20 Ultra Aug 19 and they already confirmed that they got it and no need to do anything more, they received in good condition, anyway good luck for those still trying to send there trade in.

Yup instructions were in there and a paper that came in it needed my signature to send back with the trade in phone

I have RMA that came in with the phone but no instruction other than invoice about if you're not happy you must return unit in within 30 days.

Thanks. Still seems risky. The person I spoke to was clueless about the Note deal. I think its just a contractor for ATT that manages trade ins. I guess ill see if the materials arrive in the mail in the day or two and if not go this way.

I'm in the same boat as you clerk - got an email Aug 19th that said this:

"Congratulations! With your new purchase you are eligible for our trade-in promotion* and you’ve completed the first step by selecting to receive trade-in materials.

Within 7 days you’ll receive a shipping packet to send your old device to us. Make sure to review our list of Things to do before mailing your device below and then put your device in the small bubble mailer within 30 days in order to qualify for the promotional trade-in value. No additional redemption codes are needed.

Once we have received and processed the device and determined that it is eligible we'll send you an AT&T promotional card that can be used toward AT&T products/services or to pay your bill."

I have not received the package, and like you, was under the impression that the label and box we got the Note in was for returning the new Note if there was an issue or damage. Says we have 30 days to return for the promotional trade in, which in our cases of course is $1,000.

I'm just waiting patiently for the "bubble mailer" to come.

Here's the AT&T instructions it came in the Note20 Ultra Box, plus the signature agreement already went with the trade-in, so not sure why all of you didn't get it.

Most likely its because ours came from Samsung and not AT&T. Even though ours was ordered from AT&T website, it was dropped shipped from Samsungs warehouse vs AT&T warehouse. So we didn't get the AT&T paperwork.

All we got was the stuff to return the note 20 with, not to trade in our devices with.

Good point. Yes mine was drop shipped. I was reading the rules again last night. It says you need to trade in a phone within 30 days. This leads me to think going on to the trade in site and processing the trade in on the correct line should solve the problem if the package doesnt arrive. AT&T did tell me 7 days is business days so I'm going to give it a couple more days.

I have that USPS notification stuff, and I can tell when a package is coming, same for ups and fedex. Nothing from AT&T. So thats why I decided to do that tradein page, and send it off. I'll keep everyone posted on how it goes once they get it.
