AT&T/Rogers 3G-capable and/or branded Nexus One is now available

Desire ROM is being worked on, but hasn't been completely released because the Desire hasn't been released yet. Once it does, the programmer of the ROM said there should only be a few small and easy changes to make to get everything working 100%, even the FM Tuner.

I wonder if you can root this bad boy right out of the box. Also, wonder if the desire rom will be possible right out of the box. I wanna say YES!
it should work once you unlock the bootloader and root the device. i'm running the MoDaCo Desire ROM on my T-Mo N1. BT stability is still an issue as well as the camera flash. if i need those features, i just restore my Cyan setup and i'm good to go. fyi, the Desire ROM has been my daily driver since its first stable release on Feb 19th.

I have decided that $500 bucks is too much for a phone. $200 for the Desire in the near future on AT&T seems like worth waiting for. I am just gonna wait it out and see what HTC phone AT&T brings for around $200 (I hope).

Mine is out for delivery. I really plan on rooting and dropping in the desire ROM. My friend did this on his t-mobile one and it works VERY well. I just hope there is nothing required extra with the at&t version over the t-mobile unlocked one that will require the dev to make 2 different types of ROM's. Guess we will know soon enough.

ordered my at&t nexus one

I am pretty excited that at&t has the nexus one now I was waiting for either the desire or the nexus one and the nexus one came first so here I am. I am coming off a blackberry 9700 and am looking forward to the nexus one majorly

mine out for delivery as well. My fedex guy usually comes around noon :)

ordered mine yesterday at noon but its still yet to be shipped :( anyone else order it from canada yesterday and have it ship? hopefully dhl doesn't take 2 weeks too hehe.

Mine will be here tomorrow. I couldn't make a decision and finally ordered around 8pm EST.

Enjoying the phone as I type. Loving it so far. No 3g issue yet in downtown Chicago. Its fast

for all the new version n1 owners, has anything improved over the t-mo version? are the buttons on the bottom still picky? any 3g issues? I am hoping these have been fixed/changed which would mean the verizon version should be have all the issues I worried about fixed!

3g is perfect. Not one problem. The buttons on the bottom still suck! Anyone root yet and put on the desire ROM? Some other things to know.... Not all apps on the market with the at&t version. A few examples,, fandango, exzeus, etc... WTF... Also, not sure about the space available on the N1 with tmobile but compared to the droid, I have less installed on my nexus one and I still have more room left on the droid?! 140mb vs 108mb on the N1 Are you kidding me? And my N1 has less apps on it. That really sucks big time! Where the hell did that 512mb go!?

That apps missing I'm not sure about as it should not make one bit of difference what network you are on. I'm on AT&T and get those apps just fine.

The memory is a known issue and is being addressed in the next update for the N1.

I can verify some paid apps not showing up. For me I am missing Touchdown (paid License), Weatherbug Elite and Taskiller Pro. These three are all previously paid for and came through on my N1 w/T-Mobile bands when I had it. Just to be clear, these apps are not showing up at all in the Market, not just in my Download Paid section. I went into the APN and there were some additional settings in there and I changed those to the original ones I used to put in manually. I have to delete Proxy Server and add "80" in one field. This did not help. I would like to get this one figured out. Got to be something that AT&T is doing now that the N1 is on their network although I cannot imagine why they would block those apps.

Not sure what it can be. I have not figured it out yet too. How did u edit the apn settings? It would not let me choose under settings. When I click att, I get a carrier lock error..?

I installed cyanogen 5.0.4.1 on mine with ERE36B and all my apps came back... either its a problem with me having purchased these apps on cyanogenmod on my tmo version or theres an issue with the AT&T nexus one build

I have been told by some over at XDA that the problem is with the Market. It has to be updated for the new AT&T baseband and everything will be fine. Not sure if this is correct but it is believable. I guess we are at the mercy of Google on this one. I would advise that everyone file a issue with them under support to get this noticed.
