AT&T Software Update Thread

I really hate these staged rollouts the carriers do

Just release the bloody thing to everyone at once.

That’s one thing I miss about my pixel, didn’t have to deal with the carriers BS.

Anyone know what this update does? I haven't noticed any difference, except for maybe the fingerprint sensor works WORSE than before.

One thing is that it added some verification indicators that Wireless Power sharing is enabled and in-use. The heart rate indicator glows blue when wireless power sharing is enabled and then switches to red when charging another device.

I have yet to receive an official update from AT&T since I got my S10+. I have kept up to date by going to the firmware science site. The only problem with getting firmware updates from there is after the phone reboots it stays on the Starting Android screen forever and then I have to hard reset my phone.

Hi, I have AT&T and have not received the update. Hopefully it will fix the low volume issue I've been having.

As I was writing my post, I went to settings and Software Update, and I updated. So it is here for AT&T.
It did not notify me for an update so I went and checked if there was one so everyone - check under settings for updates

Got the update today as well. I wish AT&T would provide more details in their description.

My battery seems to be draining fast as hell after this update.

Ok so I'm glad its not just me that is thinking its draining to fast. I had recently installed a bunch of apps/widgest and then removed some so I thought I had a rogue app. I'm probably gonna do a factory reset and install fresh and go from there

Yeah, unfortunately it's looking like I'll have to do the same. This is the part of Android that drives me up a freaking wall.

I see no rogue battery hogs either. I'm at 75% and my phone has been off the charger for about 4 hours with about 45 minutes of SoT.

I'm not quite as bad but close. I just backed up my messages and photos gonna try to reset it, set it up then let it charge

For those having trouble with battery drain. wipe cache and reboot. This fixed my phone without a full wipe.

I did that yesterday as a trail, didn't really notice a big difference. I also installed like 3 home launchers to try out and widgets then unistalled all of them and thats kinda when I noticed the drain, so a factory reset for me will give me piece of mind
