T-Mobile using their own RCS for now
The only difference I'm aware is vibe is Google version of RCS and Carrier version RCS might not work with everyone for RCS chat indicator,So did anyone notice any difference?
I don't know when mine was showing using jibe. But other than somehow losing some chat conversations about a week ago. Can't tell the difference.
The chat features was always available on Samsung messages if you had carrier version but the Unlocked no carrier version didn't . Those chat features were run by carrier so wasnt universal like GoogleDoes this mean that RCS chat features will be available on Samsung messages app or is still only available on Google messages?
I have the carrier version but I don't see any chat features when I try to use the Samsung App. It looks like sms.The chat features was always available on Samsung messages if you had carrier version but the Unlocked no carrier version didn't . So it will show up if another person your texting has sane carrier with RCS otherwise it will go as SMSI have the carrier version but I don't see any chat features when I try to use the Samsung App. It looks like sms.
I thought the jibe feature would allow it to work regardless of carrier. I guess I'll just stick with Google messagesSo it will show up if another person your texting has sane carrier with RCS otherwise it will go as SMS
If you go to Samsung messages and open it in the upper right corner tap menu and go through settings you should see chat features like typing indicator and read receipts options to toggle on or off ?
Sorry for the confusion that's with Google messages , I thought your referring to SamsungI thought the jibe feature would allow it to work regardless of carrier. I guess I'll just stick with Google messages
