Confusing just because best buy mobile rep told me it could be the 25th.

9/25/13 is the release date for a few "select markets" of which the US is not one.
Your best bet is to contact Best Buy on Friday to see if they have them available, and will price match the off contract price of AT&T. If nothing else, we wait until Tuesday!
Anyone notice that BB lists the Black version as being shipped with 4.2.2 and the white with 4.3? Just noticed it when I went to preorder. And im not showing a release date. This morning it was the 27th.
Yeah, they all say "not yet announced" now. We'll except Verizons which doesn't say anything about release date. I wonder if best buy was getting to many calls about the actual release date for each. Glad I kept my pre order with at&t.

I still see 9/27/13. I am looking under release date on the full website for BB. I used several different browsers to check too. No change. Will see come Friday,
The white one still shows "Release Date: 09/27/2013" but the black one now says "Release Date: Not Yet Announced."
My guess is Best Buy will have it the same day as the AT&T stores. If what has happened in the past (with the Note 1, Note 2, S3 and S4) happens again, AT&T will ship their pre-orders 2 days before they are available in store, so pre-orders get them the same day they release but do not have to wait in line. And Best Buys will have them available the same day as the stores. Which means 10/3 release date and arrival for everyone on AT&T and Best Buy. I'm still hoping for 9/27 though...
I got all excited at that headline this afternoon. It's for the United Kingdom. Those of us who started the love affair with the first Note should remember we had to wait while every country in the world got it first with the exception of Canada who got it one day later than we did. sigh All those months, and all we could do was keep watching review videos!
Correction, the US was the last country to get the OG Note. We didn't get it on AT&T until Feb of the next year.
I thought Canada got it one day after us. My friends tried to cheer me up by saying perhaps it was going in alphabetical order. I glared and said that I'd read a review that day from ZAMBIA. jeez, it was a long wait! And the reviews, for every positive review, there was one mocking it saying no one in their right mind would want one! I was terrified Samsung wouldn't make enough to GET to the U.S.
I was a die hard iPhone user when the OG Note came out, and wanted one. However I was persuaded by the guy in Belgium(I think?) who had the very first Note video on YouTube not to get one. He said it was buggy, and just not for him, and that he sold his note a week later. I think he was just having iPhone withdrawals
Regardless The Note 3 can't get here fast enough!Black one is the same as the white. I'm definitely not buying the 10/3 date. That's coming from no where. If you tried ordering now from bestbuy.com it says you can expedite for Monday-Tuesday (9/30-10/1). I've asked and have been told that 9/27 is the ship date (for online orders) [and in-store release date] so the phones will arrive on time. That makes sense. But the biggest question is why would the date move from 10/1 to 9/27 anyway for days on end? The hell is the reasoning for that?
I was just in a Best Buy and they said there is no official street date in the computer right now. They're not sure when they'll get the stock in. The chances are slim it'll come on Friday BUT if it does they are not necessarily bound by AT&T's date if their official street date were to change. And UPS can deliver at any time so there's nothing to worry about there. I just don't understand "false" release dates which would provide poor customer service and **** off a lot of people.
My order status page has said estimated ship date between 9/11 and 9/13, pending shipment, ARGH. I would have more faith in Best Buy's web site under corporate rule than in what the sales people know. It hasn't had a chance to filter down to them yet. I remember when Chromecast came out and I called the local Best Buy. No one knew what I was talking about even though it was in their store. I went after work and it was already sold out by that time.They don't have the best communication process. They'll stick to their web site. AT&T almost has to get it to those of us who have pre-ordered by Friday or they'd create a nightmare of returns.

I just checked, and you are correct. I remember being told by a Best Buy mobile employee, when I was trying to buy a GS3, and the release date was uncertain. That even though they had them, they weren't allowed to sell them until they were given a concrete release date. I hope this isn't the case, and they sell them early. However I'm more concerned with them matching AT&T's off contract price if they do. If they don't sell them until the 1st I'll just go to AT&T, and not deal with the hassle of price matching.
