AT&TNote 3 - Friday, September 27th @ Best Buy???

Just called two corporate stores and got the same answer from both! They both said they did not have a release date which is strange becasue yesterday they told me Oct 1st! The second person went a little further and said that its possible for people that pre-ordered through at&t could get there phone before at&t got theres but would not be able to activate the phone until the at&t stores got theres! The story is changing everyday! Going to bb to cancel my pre order with them since they will not be getting the phone on the 27th like the site originally had sad! Looks like I'll heading to the corporate store should have went there from the start!

I went into BB yesterday and a salesman said they were getting the Note3 in Friday and would have them Saturday morning. I went into ATT store and they could not give me a release day. I called the smaller ATT store in Fort Collins too and got the same info.

Since I had preordered from ATT I knew they were shipping on Oct1 so I could miss out on several days.

Well today I went into BB to reconfirm about when they were getting the Note 3 - thinking I would cancel my preorder and they went to their computer but first asked my carrier. Seems they had changes where now they will not release the phone to their customers before the carriers did - and the date that came back to them was Oct 3-4.

Interesting. Anyone else have more data???

Because I get free stuff like a car charger and screens and a few other nic nacks from them for Zero Deniro's ....
Ohhh I'll have to wait a few days more than you guys ... Maybe 4-6 days extra!!!

The ship date says Oct 1st for me, I'm just waiting to see if I get a shipping confirmation tomorrow so it'll arrive in time for the in-store release date. If no confirmation comes, pre-order will be cancelled. AT&T needs to treat the people who pre-order better.

I've been calling BB and AT&T the lady at AT&T said "they'll have a demo unit in store tomorrow but none to actually sell" and I asked her when they will get the units in to buy and she said "their not going to carry the phone in the store and you'll have to order it from them only online!?" And I'm like Wtf, I've never heard of that in my life so I asked her you mean to tell me you will never carry this phone in your actual store and she said no,her boss said so,man its so frustrating not having a solid all around official date for this device.

That HAS to be a unique situation. I wouldn't think many stores would do this especially with a newer phone they know their "competent" salesman can push. It's not that niche.

There's no way that could be true. The lady is obviously clueless, because the Galaxy Note 3 is a flagship phone for Samsung. And with the Samsung experience shops inside of most Best Buys, why would they not want to sell to you in store?

On the flip side, today is Friday. It's a shame Best Buy isn't selling them. Maybe one of us will find a Best Buy that didn't get the memo, and sell a Note 3 early.

Yesterday, I have spoke with 3 supervisors at BBM corporate and they all said the original release date of 9/27 was pushed to 10/4 (yes 10/4) because they were told by AT&T that they cannot sell it before AT&T store have it.

So I went into the local BB store and again verified that it is no dice for today 9/27 and that they have do not even have a 100% date yet on when they will get them. So I canceled my BB pre-order, Good news is that means it will most likely be available at BB and AT&T corp on 10/4.

Oh and about AT&T pre-orders, even though the website still says your Note 3 will ship on 10/1, when you go to place the order, it says it will ship on or around 10/1. They pulled this BS with the Note 2 and it shipped a day late. But I still got it the same day it was available at the AT&T corp stores.

This time, I'm just going to avoid the stress and head to a corp store the day they have it in stock and get it. It's not an iPhone, so I doubt there will be a big line if any.

What amazes me is with this being the most expensive device on the Market, why can't the carriers give up an answer on a release date?!?!?!?

I have a question though. Do non-corporate AT&T stores NOT get their phones in on release day? Is there a delay typically? A store I called said they usually do carry them for purchase on the day. But, we know how reliable that info can be. I'm still planning on calling every day from Tuesday on checking with AT&T and if they get it sooner I'll cancel my pre-order with Best Buy. It blows when you've made plans and had your sights set on a day... and another day... only to find out both were wrong.

Several locations in the Spring/Woodlands area of Houston have verified a release date of October 1st. I plan to be getting my Note 3 by then. Sucks for those of you that have to wait until the 4th.

The Woodlands location has told me the 1st, but that was last week. I'll give a few stores a call today to verify. I know the official date from AT&T corporate has always been the 1st. Surprised so many people have been getting the 4th as the date.

Best Buy also had this date originally. Then they changed it to today and now it's October 4th. I called my local BB and they confirmed they won't be selling them until the 4th for walk-ins. She seemed to think they could give people who pre-ordered (me) the phones when they get some in stock which could be earlier than the 4th. I can't get through to any AT&T stores... a place that sells phones can't answer them... but I'll check on the 1st and every day following and cancel over the phone with Best Buy if I can get my hands on one sooner.

This phone won't be available until the 4th for AT&T for sure. I've had some free time this morning and called about 10 Bestbuys and 10+ AT&T stores and the phone will NOT be sold until the 4th. I'm in Houston FWIW.
