aTAKEphONE released

Yeah, there really is nowhere to add a hide/show button. How about this, though; is it possible to make it a secondary function of the call button? Like long press to hide/show the dial pad? As I said before, I understand if it can't be done; the contacts+i-bar is enough for me to purchase it. It is a great app!

Thanks for your kind words.

I hesitate to use a long press on CALL, cause I might be using it later on for other features.

Will continue thinking about this.

Will be adding the contacts + i-Bar soon.

Thanks

Hi all,

Version 1.47 just released at the Android Market and at my own website (ShSh Software)

- Fixed menu graphics for Gingerbread (Android 2.3.3).
- Clearing missed call/s icon no longer works on Gingerbread (blocked by Google), so restored "go to system call log" menu option.
- Fixed numbers search.

As always - you can get the full featured 30 days trial at my website.

Thanks !

Hi,

Problem is in ome HTC devices, and in Android 2.2, the on screen PHONE button is HARD-CODED to launch the built-in app, so aTAKEphONE nor any other 3rd party app can't take over...

Hmmm I have a Droid 2 with Android 2.2 and after I installed "Dialer2" Dialer2 - Android when I touch the onscreen phone button it gives the option for original dialer or "Dialer2" with a checkbox to make default.

This can't be done with aTAKEphONE?

Hi,

Yes - this should work if it works for Dialer2.

What version of aTAKEphONE did you install ?

Thanks

Hi,

Long time since I've been here.

Just posted version 1.67 - also supports ICS and up, and has a nice skin for it:

Thanks

The new version is working well except that I can't delete call log entries. I have tried deleting filtered logs and also the entire log but nothing goes away. I can delete call log entries with the stock dialer but the entries remain in atakephone. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S3 (Verizon).

Hi,

This is really strange - especially the last part - seems to indicate there are two seperate call logs ?

Anyone else seeing this ?

Thanks

Based on what I am seeing it appears that there are two call logs. I have deleted all log entries with the stock dialer but atakephone still shows all call activity since I activated the phone a few weeks ago.
