Atrix Pre-Order Issues

Just so people will not get discouraged i am feeling good i checked the premier site but it still has not updated since 2/15

I have no idea how to even find that view of order status on the Premier site.
 
I just called the customer service number to see if they had a tracking number for my phone - just in case it was available in their system prior to an email going out...and they told me my phone was scheduled to ship on March 6th!!! They then sent me the following email:

Thank you for your recent purchase from AT&T | Cell Phones, U-verse, Digital TV, DSL Internet, and Phone Service.


We inadvertently stated in your order confirmation email that you would receive your order “within three to five business days." Instead, your order should be delivered
on or before March 6th, 2011.

You will also receive a ship confirmation email once your order ships.

Please disregard the delivery expectation that was stated in your order confirmation email from us and accept our apology for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Has anyone else gotten this email? I am so pissed. I ordered my phone at 11:40 Central Standard Time on the 12th...so just 40 minutes after midnight on the 13th on the East coast. If this is true what can I do?

Wow. You have got to be kidding me. That is absolutely ridiculous.

I just was able to check my order status on the non-Premier page, and it shows as "Qty. Ordered" and not "Qty. Back Ordered."

HAH! I got that same e-mail yesterday, but with one key difference:

Whereas your says, "is still scheduled to be delivered as early as February 22, 2011" mine says, "is still scheduled to be shipped as early as February, 22, 2011."
 
that's really strange i would check if i where you on all your orders on the actual att website to see if it still says back ordered i know mine did yesterday and now today says its not

No...it is not backordered. I just waited to speak to a customer service manager and he told me that only the premier orders were shipping for delivery by the 21st - that regular consumer pre-orders would ship on the 6th. I am so pissed.
 
Does anyone else have backordered accessories? I ordered the multimedia dock and the desktop dock..

Oh man... That really sucks!

All of this misinformation and back-and-forth is just ridiculous.

I ordered the laptop dock, standard charging dock and the vehicle dock. As of a few minutes ago they all showed in progress with nothing backordered.

It was about 7:30am-8:00am CST on the 14th.
 
Yup, back ordered. I've been on hold for 45 mins waiting to talk to someone in Premier customer support to get an answer as to why the pending on my checking account changed from $274.09 to $231.10 today.

hey man, that is $49.99 difference...i bet something on your order is still backordered or won't ship with the phone.

That manager must just came back in from smoking crack! Why in the world would AT&T ship premier orders for delivery 2-21 and hold others until 03-06 when ANYONE can walk into the store and buy it on 2-22? Even better, when ANYONE can walk into Radio Shack, Target, possibly Costco, BestBuy, or Amazon and get it for less on 2-22.

If mine does not ship by 2-21 for delivery on 2-22 my exact words to the FedEx/UPS delivery person will be "no one works here by that name" and I'll refuse to sign it and AT&T can pay to have it shipped back.

AT&T sure knows how to screw up a pre-order. This is like iPhone pre-orders all over again. Can't AT&T send a company memo that everyone can read and get on the same page?!?

I'd bet a dollar to your donut that he is working off of the old "March 6 or before" info and hasn't been notified of the updated information regarding the 02/21 delivery
