help me please. I want to download the new update for the atrix but I have to get rid of my gingerblur rom first. How do i do this? Do i really have to flash all the way back to stock and lose all my apps and stuff?

I had to manually check for the update too. It's updating right now actually. Took less than a min to download the update itself (17MB, it said). Hope it wasn't "recalled" for any particular bad reason because it's about to be installed in my phone! lol

hey mike

i think you have to visit XDA, there is a thread in which you can flash back to the stock rom. in order to back up your stuff i think you may need titanium root explorer to backup...not sure though you may want to ask those guys.

I'm thinking so....cause I'm in class and cannot just download through data,the install paused until a WI-FI network is located and the phone connects to it.....I'm really looking forward to getting the update already

I just got the update message when I went to system updates. Working on downloading and updating right now.

Downloaded fine on mine, noticed a couple of changes. While phone is charging, screen now turns off. That was probably a setting before, but it seems to be changed to the default now. The lock screen now shows charging %, not sure if that was a feature before, but seems to be on now.

Other than that, I've not noticed any difference, speed test still comes up with less than great performance, but lets hope AT&T fix that soon eh?

Actually if you want the update, thats what needs to be done. Flashing back the SBF file is painless and quick. Just make a back up of your apps and if you have installed apps that are paid, they will already be in the market once you log back in.

Negative. If you were in the beta program, the update you recieved is the actual update pushed out to the public. Ive had this since the first stage of Beta and its good to go!

updated an hour ago, everything seems to be just as it was before... sometimes have to swipe few times for the reader to recognize... also a question: is the screen suppose to turn off immediatly after connecting to a charger even if it is not locked? because mine stays for 2 minutes and only then turns off...

From what I have herd No. You can still sideload. Dont worry, Root will be accessable soon Im sure.

Ok I updated about 15 minutes ago and its all good.I don't see any major difference yet but we'll see if the battery life is better tmrrw.Although I can already see the fingerprint scanner is on point and the added battery usage options are a plus.deffinately worth getting the update!!!

does anybody have an answer for me. I just flashed it with the sbf so that i could download the update. now it says im on version 4.1.52 (wat is that?) and im not getting an update
