If I buy an unlocked GSM Samsung Galaxy nexus will the data work with ATT prepaid go service? Has anyone tried it? Will my turn by turn turn google directions work?

it will work. although i never had a Galaxy Nexus with them, i did used a Nexus One just like that. keep in mind though that data is going to be very hard to control if you get something with a very low limit. with the Nokia E75 i was using prior to the Nexus One, it was easy to get by with just buying the 100mb package every couple of weeks. the Nexus One will go through 20-30mb in just a day even though i watched my usage very carefully.

Well I am planning on getting 50 dollar a month unlimited prepaid service, does google turn by turn work with prepaid service?

Ok i got it working with the 50.00 unlimited go phone plan . what i did was buy the cheapest go phone with unlimited web and everything then call and tell the lady i needed to use the sim in another phone and she says no problem let me unlock that sim . after she gets done i put it in the nexus and presto it works like a charm lol . i wouldnt advise doing this and trying to use a ton of data though as im sure they will catch on .

what was the cheapest go phone you found with unlimited everything?

My only concern is the phone has an international warranty instead of US warranty. Anyone knows what exactly is an international warranty? Do I need to send my phone to S Korea?

You don't need to purchase any phone to get the $50 monthly plan. Just tell the rep that you need just a SIM card, you have your own phone. No need to spend money on a cheap phone, too.

so far I have gathered is data works, HSPA+ works, google turn by turn works, tethering works when one uses ATT 50 dollar unlimmited plan. My only issue left is warranty and phone insurance. Also wonder if ATT would release GN. I was hoping they would announce it at CES, since they didnt make me feel they wont release GN for months atleast.

Anyone knows 1) if I buy it online will it come with a US charger? 2) Where to buy the GSM car dock?

somebody sent me this, but I am afraid to click on the link, anybody knows about it? Hey,

Sorry it took me a little to respond, but I sold it already, you might want to go to this website: http://tnylnk.net/607f0033996cce62f3fd1989f141b549 I picked up 3 new ones for under $87 bucks and have been reselling the extra ones. Because the website is really new theres like hardly anyone online, no one is bidding, its just like xmas again. The idea is to bid just when the counter hits 5|3 seconds and you win pretty much every single time.

Have fun! If I can do it anyone can!
