Attaching Docs to Emails

I'm sorry if this question has been addressed, I haven't been able to locate it through the search..

I can't seem to find out how to attach a doc file to my emails. Everytime I try to attach a file, it only takes me to my pictures. I need to send out emails with docs attached, but can't seem to find out if or how its possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

If you have a file browser such as Astro, you simply find the file on your sdcard and long press it. One of the options will be Send and after selecting it will ask you what you want to send it with (Gmail, bluetooth).

I would try using the K9 Mail client instead. I'm pretty sure it will allow you to access other types of files.

Personally, I use TouchDown, but that requires you to have an Exchange server.
