audio distortion when screen shuts off

I recently installed cm7 on my 32gb HP TP. Everything seems to work okay except for the music player. When I am playing music and the display shuts off the audio becomes distorted. As soon as I turn the screen on the audio starts playing normally. I have only seen one other post in the CyanogenMod forum from October with no resolution HP Touchpad CM7 sound issues - CyanogenMod Forum. Does anyone have any other info about this problem?

Me too having the same issue. Any help to resolve this issue would be much appreciated

I get this too with all audio not just music, I'm sure the problem is logged with the CM people though and will be fixed when they can get to it.
