Audio dropout while on BT

Good evening all,

When streaming audio via Bluetooth in my vehicle, my audio stops upon receiving notifications. Is there a way to send THAT audio to my phone speaker or at least keep it from pausing my audio?

Are you using Android Auto or just Bluetooth? Is this all streaming apps or just one? If it's just one which is it?

Android Auto. And seems to be most, if not all streaming apps.
