Aug 11th "Official" Release Date?

Wish I saw this thread earlier so I could see what was sais before it was removed. But I can understand why.

It is honestly a lot easier than you think. Especially with the room he posted a pic of and mentioned it's a conference room, etc. Do you think thousands of employees at his office have the Epic demo units or a handful? hehe. I would bet money that just a handful have them.

Maybe it was his boss that took the picture?

I work personally for Dan Hesse and want to set this forum straight. Mr. Hesse indicates to me that the Epic 4G will be released when he says it will be released and that no store employees, managers, or even other senior executives of Sprint have been advised of his plans with respect to the phone release.

The reason for the delay is that a three D holographic image widget will be added on to the phone. For those who have seen the CSI detectives flipping through large volumes of data on a holographic touch interface this is what I am referring to. This will enable the user to browse the Internet, send emails and texts, and place phone calls. More to come shortly. Thank you for your patience.

Maybe he is the boss since he said "I could start taking orders on the 16th and start sales on the 21st", maybe it's just a meeting where different managers meet up and get details about upcoming devices. Unless he wants to fire himself, lol.

I was on the phone with Sprint Customer Service (on another matter), and I asked about the release date, and he said September 1st, no details on pricing.

For whatever it's worth,
Mike

That's pretty funny I was on the phone with 2 reps from the sales dept they both swore on Sept 16th, I think they're all wrong the phone will be released on 12/21/12, right before the earth blows up.

Now THIS made me laugh! LOL

I sure do love these speculation threads!

They didn't even have the decency to change the title that Phil gave to the picture when he saved it lol.

I think Sprint is loving all the hype. You can't by this kind of publicity. In a way all of us bloggers are advertising this phone for them.
That said. If it is coming out this weekend. That would mean the Sprint corp stores should be getting some live demo's to learn the product like any day then. One would think????
