Authentication Error

So recently I had to delete one of my email addresses due to some issues I was having with it. I made a new email and I figured everything was fine.
Now I can't update any of my apps because it says there is an authentication error and that I need to sign in to my google account. When I hit ok, it doesn't do anything and it says that I'm signed in. What is the problem and how can I fix so that I can update my apps?

All of your apps are associated with a particular Gmail account, so if you just create a new one none of your apps will be associated with the new Gmail account. I'm sure Google has provided a method to transfer all of your purchases to a new Gmail account, but since I haven't had to do that I don't know what the specifics are.
