Auto dial mistakes

If a set of earbuds gets a frayed wire it will cause an auto dial of the last number called.
Is there a setting that I can shut off so this doesn't happen. I've had to throw out a lot of
earbuds that still had sound but the mic wire got frayed and calling you boss at 10 at night is
not cool.

LOL.. i have never heard of any i will look around, but always remember , goolgle is your friend
