Auto dialer not populating

I've got an unrooted droid x running gingerbread. When I click a phone number the dialer opens but the number doesn't populate. Rebooting fixes this temporarily but the issue returns. Anyone else seeing this?

Usually have to pull my battery to get it working again, also unrooted DX.

Try updating Google Maps. It sounds crazy, but it seems to have fixed the issue for me and others.

I'm getting the same issue and I have updated google maps already as well. that has not fixed it.

Try uninstalling the Maps updates then reinstalling.

Well I installed the map updates and it seems to be working so far. Thanks for the tip.
