wow , really, which version were you using MR1?, were you stock before you started this, Was your battery completely charged? let it charge for a bit and try to turn it on, maybe you are not holding it down long enough in your panic...this is the first time ive heard this happen where it wont turn on.

yes the mr1.. i was rooted before using fryetechs simi auto root method and it somehow unrooted itself sat night.. but i removed all the old files and started over with yours.. its been charging for about 20 min now and still no luck with booting up at all. but the the battery was almost all the way full when i began the process.

I dont know then, i mean really if you didnt even flash it shouldnt have done that, the fact that you even made it to the reboot part says that everything flashed correctly or you would have gotten an error to start over. if you cant turn it on and its charged then its bricked....fryetechs method of rooting is completely different my method is the same as the one in XDA step by step except mine auto checks the output of the checksum's if you got to the reboot section then everything was done correctly on the autoroots end. and the fact that you didnt flash the firmware is even more reason it shouldnt have been a problem.

Im really sorry but if you cant turn it on then its bricked.
I would bring it into Verizon and tell them you were doing the over the air update and it stopped working.
without any power to the device there is nothing i can do.

as a last resort try pressing volume down and power see if it kicks you into the bootloader

ok is there anyway vzw would be able to catch up with it though?

Not if they can't power it up and if it is truely bricked it will have to be forced flashed and they wont waste time trying to investigate it if it isnt something blaringly obvious

ok should i take out my sd card before i take it in? to avoiod seeing any evidence of rooting?

they wont be able to tell besides the PG05img.zip but even then they wont know what it is. but yeah better safe than sorry

Ok was still getting error from rom manager that i need to be rooted so ran auto unroot and the auto root again and my bootloader says S-off but still getting this error that i need to be rooted and no app is requesting superuser permissions either...any suggestions? Thanks again

when it was done flashing did you have super user app in the app drawer or did you have to download it? did you try downloading titanium backup, open it then hitting the "problems" button and selecting get busybox update
