Need help. My HTC sync is not detecting my device. I even plugged in my phone and re-installed

Do you have usb debugging enabled and the phone set to disc drive?

Menu.. Settings.. Applications.. Development.. USB Debugging.
From the notification bar.. pull down and switch from charge to disc drive.

I figured it out, thanks. Also, I am running the liquid gingerbread rom and it is great but it just lust like launcher pro? lol is it pre loaded with it? because I cannot uninstall it. Also, I don't understand what kernels are and what they do and why I need one. Any info would be great!

Use this to root my wife's TB along with mine. WORKS GREAT! No trouble at all!

why does it keep hanging at "pushing RUU" after the update?... this happened when i first rooted my TB and i manually put the PG05IMG(2) on the sd card and renamed it PG05img.zip, which then worked... i tried doing that for this TB that i am now trying to root and nothings working... HELP please??

Ok i went through with the unroot process. Is there a way I can check that I'm truly unrooted, beside seeing that my custom rom I had is gone? I'm doing this because I'm returning this phone under warranty.

One.... you can turn off the phone and power it back on while holding the volume down rocker at the same time until you see the hboot screen. On top... it should say "s-on" (security on/the bootloader is locked). If its "s-off"... you still have root permissions.

Two.... you can use an app called Terminal. On the command line, you should see a "$" sign which means you're unrooted. If you see a "#" sign, you still have root. You can also type in "su" (for super user) and it should say permissions denied.

After running this, and it said it was completed, rom manager still says I dont have root access??

Download TERMINAL from the market and open it... do you see a # sign or $ sign?

I downloaded Root Checker previous to your post, and it said I wasnt rooted either... when I search TERMINAL in the market, there are tons of apps... Which dev makes the app you are talking about?

I dont see any flames.. or anything that says Download other than the stop where (under AutoRoot) it says Download here ... but there is nothing in the space below until the Video Demonstration by DanSan..

ive been having problems with my head phones with inline mic. im running bamf remix 1.7. I can hear through the earphone but my mic isnt working. ive tried a couple of different headphones and mic combinations but no luck. Do you think rooting could have caused this? Before i rooted i used a knock off ipod headphones i bought off the street and it worked fine. But now im having problems. im debating if i should try another set of headphones or just flashing another rom and seeing what happens. But i dont really feel like dl all my apps again... any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
