auto sending info!?

So I purchased a new Note 5. Awesome phone so far. Leaps and bounds over the note 4 in performance.

So I was setting up accounts yesterday and I think I was setting up Samsung pay when I got a popup saying do you want to send data to help performance blah blah blah. Basically any error codes or data it will send automatically to help make yhe experience better for users. I hate opting in on these and I did so by mistake. Is there somewhere on the phone where I can go to disable these auto send thing that send data in the background!?!?

It's in Settings under Privacy & Security - Report Diagnostic Info

I don't see an option for "Privacy and Security", but do have "Privacy and safety". Within "Privacy and safety" I don't see an option for "Report Diagnostic Info". There are quite a few settings and options within "Privacy and safety", so could have missed it.

I know that iOS has the option, and use it so that Apple and app developers can get crash data.

Yes you're correct, it's privacy and safety. But I do have the option to switch reporting diagnostic info on or off. Could be the option has been moved or removed on your model. Carriers will sometimes modify settings menus, they monkey around with everything it seems.

Verizon definitely removed it. If I go to Settings, and tap Search in the top right corner, type Report diagnostic info, it has an entry in the search index, click it, it goes to a screen that says Report diagnostic info, click that, thinking, here we go, and you get:

• Private Mode
• Emergency Mode
• Send SOS Messages
