Autocorrect change?

Turn off "Auto Check Spelling" then on the keyboard itself turn "Auto Replace" on. Should work just fine or at least better.

Thanks for this, but I don't feel I'm noticing much difference. And actually this brings back the issue that I can't use Googles speech to text. I think Swiftkey has won my loyalty, though I REALLY wish they had a shortcut menu (like OMW = on my way spelled out).

Im the one that originally had the issues. Still there, autocorrect is just crap. Been using swiftkey and it worls great but I still like the way the Samsung one looks. I've been meaning to do a factory reset but i just don't have the time to set everything up from scratch again.

tried to do a factory reset and even resetting just the keyboard to factory, it did nothing. I even picked up the replacement today for the recall and it is still doing the same exact thing. I don't recommend having to re-setup the phone as it will probably not work for you as well...

This didn't fix it for me but as The_Dude said, it is "better". However I'm still stuck with being forced to use Samsung's voice to text when using their keyboard and I don't like it...so sticking with SwiftKey so I can use Google voice to text.

Im having thw same issue with my note 7 as well.. it will make the suggestion but not initiate the change when i hit the space bar. Many times it does NOT make the suggestion either. Maybe this is a system wide Marshmellow I issue. When i had my note 5 this was a non issue. Now its a major pain in the butt!

I installed SwiftKey and it works way better now. Actually works as it's supposed to. I prefer the samasung keyboard look over SwiftKey but at least this works! Maybe the issue is the Samsung keyboard... Who knows
