Sometimes when i try to wake my phone up, it automatically locks back before i can even do anything. It will do this 20+ times before i either just restart it or leave it and come back to it. Does anyone else have this issue? I just got this phone new about a month ago

When it locks automatically, is the screen blacking out first? If so, then do you have a case with a flipcover? If the flipcover is folded all the way behind the phone, the magnet that triggers the smartcover sensor (which causes the phone to sleep) might still be activating the sensor due to it being too strong.

I'm having the same problem. Usually if I get the reboot menu to come up and let it sit on that for a few seconds, I can press back and get it to unlock. Sometimes a reboot is required though.

No flip cover case here. i have a spigen slim armor. I thought it may have had something to do with the sensors but it does it without any case. The screen locks normally as if i has double tapped or pressed the lock button.

Its extremely frustrating right?? Is it possible that we have slightly defective phones? Ive been looking all around but i can barely find anyone with the same problem.

Is there anything else nearby that might be generating an electromagnetic field? A big speaker, or is the phone typically lying on top of a laptop or a charger?
