Automatic reset

I keep my tablet in a case which I close when I am not using it, but don't shut down the tablet. When I open the case, I automatically get the lock screen. This holds true all day until I close the case for the night, even if it is after midnight.
When I open the case in the morning, I get the tablet startup screen asking for the pin number. After I enter it, the tablet goes through the full startup, including the encryption unlock.
Why does it shut down overnight, and not at other times? How can I change it?

I have a Tab s3 & a couple of other Samsung tablets. Mine reboot about once a week, also at night.
I believe that event is built into the system as a type of security feature.
I don't think there's an option to disable that function, but maybe someone that knows more tricks than me will have a solution for you.

Andriod security will ask for pin /password when not in use for long periods of time or on restart if you have that set in device care auto restart
