Automatic Switching on Bluetooth Suggestions - for Smart Lock

No "wifi" Setting for Smart Lock. Boooo. Silly to miss it out.

Trying bluetooth and all set up fine, but I'm bound to forget about switching it on. Are there any ways or apps that can do do, maybe based on my home wifi or times?

Welcome to Android Central! Your Google Play Services probably hasn't been updated to 6.5 yet (which should happen some time soon). On 6.5, you get an additional option in Smart Lock to choose a Trusted Place, which is determined by the Location service. I have my Home set as a Trusted Place.

Have you done any testing to see how far from home you can get before the phone locks? Just wondering what the range of this is when based on GPS.

MacroDroid can do that for you, it is very versatile. Sure wish I owned stock in their company.

No, I haven't. It's supposed to stay unlocked within a radius of 100 meters, which is pretty broad. If you don't have the actual GPS on (i.e., you're on battery-saving location mode, using only wi-fi and mobile data to estimate your location), then location could be off by more than 100 meters, especially if your mobile data signal isn't great.
