Automatically start music app when phone connects to Bluetooth speaker

Is there a way to have a music app automatically start when my phone connects to a Bluetooth speaker? I used to have this setting on my LG G6 with smart connect. Is there a setting on the Note 8 that can do this?

Have a look at the BlackPlayer music app in Google play store, in settings there is an option for autostart.

I've used several music players (stock, poweramp, doubletwist) and they've all had the option in their individual app settings to start playing automatically.

I found an app called Bluetooth Connect & Play. I use IHeart Radio and it doesn't have the option to start up on connect. this app worked
