Avg 8 hours?

That's not really what I meant. I kept my X way back when the X was new (July 2010) and the battery was horrible. Discovering the apps that were draining my battery fixed my issues and I was glad that I kept the X...back then. Now I very happily own the Bionic and have done the same with it, figuring out how to get 24 hours of my extended battery, doing everything I want with the phone. All of these super phones are going to draw a lot of juice, so you've got to figure out what the problematic apps are instead of returning and waiting for whatever comes next.

I know what you meant, I was just having some fun. I am a fairly heavy phone user, lots of calls, 3 Imap email accounts, 2 gmail accounts (very low volume on these two), talk radio podcast daily and never play games or movies. On most days I can bump charge the phone every time I get in the car (dash mount) but this weekend I will fly to go see my grandchildren in an all Apple household. This means that I will be heckled when I must retrieve one of my chargers to make it past 2:00PM as my son grabs his Iphone and says "I haven't charged this since yesterday" Extended battery was better but I didn't like the bulk. I do hope some app and OS updates will make it better but didn't want to take the chance. There are some powerful phones ready to launch that I am looking forward to them but will try to wait for customer reviews before jumping in. Who knows, maybe I will compare all and get the Bionic again, only time will tell.

Yes, I had to let it go. Loved the phone but I was at the end of my 14 day costco limit.

I too bought from costco.. But im coming from a blackberry b.c my og droid met a toilet. lol
Why didnt you just hold on to it, and if the vigor or prime is indeed better, try for the exchange?
you have ninety days..

only thing I can think of is costco's stock sucks.. took me a while to get a replacement bionic..

You know what though,IMO, I put the battery on full performance and get about 11 hours with moderate usage and I leave everything running GPS,WiFi, Bluetooth, email sync every 30 minutes. I got a beast of a phone and I'm not going to restrict it by turning evrything off just to get 2-3 more hours of what...time you don't use it??? I have the ability to charge it whenever which I understand some people don't. I did however get a extended battery for whenver I go out of town or traveling and don't want to charge it anytime soon.

I guess I was spoiled by my DX. Because I was lazy, I would always leave Bluetooth, GPS and Sync on full time. Listening to the third hour of a Podcast in the office now and have a USB charger 8" from the phone but haven't plugged it in because I don't need to. At 60% after 8 hours, granted the DX did get better over time after updates. It would be awesome if the future updates were this kind to the Bionic.

I said new phones are coming out soon and these days a release delay of 90 days or more is not unheard of.....does the name Bionic ring a bell?
