Awesome Battery Life!

i just got about 24hrs of use out of my X then it just died on me (expected). how long is it taking you guys to charge ur fone fully? mines been on the charger for about 30mins now and its already at 70%. normal or possible software glitch?

There has been a know problem of the batter reader giving inaccurate readings that the update (whenever that may be) will fix.

But I let my battery get down to 5% and it took about 2 hours to fully charge.

I'm not complaining on the battery life. It'll last me a full day with the Wi Fi running, 3G, and the GPS going (have yet to turn on my Blue Tooth). I consider my self to be a light average user though.

I a little under 4 hours I have 50% left under moderate use no web surfing just texts.

Listen up every one this is very important. This problem with battery life appears to be a software problem. I was down 60% in four hours. I restarted the phone (powered down then turned on) and it went back up to 90% upon restart.

So the upgrade this week should fix it. DO NOT wait until it get to 5% to do this because it wont restart.

I wonder if the real problem is that the phone is stopping the charger from truly fully charging the battery because the phone is not reporting the proper battery level.

I hope it's just a stupid siftware glitch because battery life is horrible. There is no way I can go through a day without needing a recharge by around 3pm.....and I am not a power user.

I'm waiting (not so) patiently for tomorrow's update. Having to shut it down and restart it to mysteriously gain 30%+ of life back is getting annoying.

I feel like it has been pretty good so far. Comparable to my droid. I will still probably get a second battery.

This should actually read about +4 hours but i accidentally stuck it on the car mount for about a second before realizing it was plugged in. Quickly unplugged but the "last unplugged" as reset.

Made it through the night..

I've also had awesome battery life as well! At least 12 hours with moderate to heavy use. No joke cause I work 12 hour shifts and my battery still has about 10-20% left with all the use.

You have to give the batteries a few cycles to be accurate, and a software fix is coming next week. I still want the larger OEM battery anyways...

This I found to be true. On my first use it drained fast. After only 2 cycles, it has lasted me a whole day being left off of the charger overnight.

Im using the battery saver feature in the options. I guess. Its possible for some. To have just gotten defective batteries. The update may fix it. Im alsorunning atk pro also which kills when i lock the screen.i dunno the battery so far is phenomenal for me at least. Its better then my eris was with the extended life battery.
