BACKside ROM LG OV no phone call audio through car speakers

Before I installed this rom I was able to hear my phone conversations through my car speakers using the 1/8 in jack and talk with my phone sitting on my lap but now the volume through the speakers is very quiet and the microphone doesn't work when the jack is plugged in.

Are there any fixes for this?

None.. This is the only issue keeping me on a froyo rom

I've had a similar problem as what OP describes, but for me I had a very low in-call volume when using headphones. For me, every other sounds like music and notification was working fine and loud enough, but when listening to music and a call came in the in-call volume was very low. I think what's going on is that the system volume got turned all the way down somehow, and sound volume settings get screwy when switching from different sound settings in the notification tab. I downloaded an app called Volume Controller by bh_ln from the market, and it seems to help.

This I'd the only major issue left on cm7 as far as I'm concerned. Almost willing to go back to froyo except I like all the options in cm7.

Yep, me too. I am also on this rom and this issue is in the log, but no fix as of yet. It also happens if you are using the device with headphones.

For now, I just unplug when a call comes in - pretty big PIA - the other fix would be to get an inline mic for your headphone jack - about 15 bucks - or step back to froyo.

Ok thanks guys. I guess I'll just have to deal with it because I don't want to go back to Froyo just for that.
