Backup my Moto X to local PC

Samsung got Kies (which work 2 out of 10 times)

What do Moto X got?

I would like to have something locally rather depending on Cloud and I always like to make a back up off a back up and store it off site. AT&T crew suggested MotoCast but I don't think Moto X was under the supported devices.

The whole nine yards from contacts, memo, SMS, email accounts sentings and icons/folders arrangement. Basically like what that iTunes and Kies does.

I have used Helium Premium successfully. I back up to Dropbox, which creates a local copy. Yes, it costs like $5 but come on...

I did read about the Helium and the developer said it will not work with Motorola devices. You said you have used the program successfully. Shall I assumed you have Motorola device? Tip or Trick before I try it?
