Backup / Restore question-assistance

May need to have my S3 replaced, how can I back mine up so that I can simply restore the new one with the same config. (hate to use this analogy, but like restoring an iphone in itunes)

Thanks. That will restore my apps/data/settings. I haven't played with it much

I really do not recommend doing such a thing. It may work or it may cause issues. It is always best to just take the time and rebuild the device. The only exception is replacing the complete image on the phone i.e. the entire OS, settings and any added applications.
