Bad luck with NFC tags

After seeing some of the really cool things you can do with NFC tags, I purchased the app and tags from Tagstand (they had great prices/quick shipping...no complaints with that). Unfortunately, I had an awful time getting the tags to write correctly and when they would, the phone struggled to pick them up about 75% of the time. Once I put my case back on, they failed to work 100% of the time.

This may be old news, but for anyone looking to use NFC tags, just be aware they may not work to your expectations. May be the tags, but may be the phone....

I had no idea my att one x had NFC Whaaat thaaa do we have it or are you on the international version.

Maybe I need the TecTiles then if other folks are having good luck with them. I am using NFC Task Launcher as well and the tags are from them and it is the NFC Task Launcher Pack (hard plastic pieces that could go on a key ring). I was actually hoping for stickers, so maybe that is what I should try.

havent tried the hard plastics, but i love the stickers. realy sticky, plus they penetrate pretty well. have some of mine behind hard plastic pretty think and it still picked it up pretty smooth

Do you have a case on your phone?
