I'm excited for this, I loved Baked Snack 1.6. Hopefully he posts it on AC!

What exactly happened over at XDA?

Is that the real baked snack 2.1 on 4shared?

I installed it. Seems real, but I have no idea... there's no browser in it, which is kinda wierd...

Yes for some reason he released Baked Snack 2.1 without a browser in it. So far there has been no explanation why.

Even more weird, no browser after flashing v2.1 but as soon as I flashed honeycombfusion v1.1 I had the stock browse. Do themes usually have .apks?

A couple questions. I just got access to Hero_over's site, downloaded 2.1 does it come with the kernal or do I have to flash that as well? Where did you find the theme honeycombfusion v1.1?

Yes he has a kernel in the ROM package, no need to add one.

Honeycomb Fusion 1.1 is available from XDA, themes section.

Yes a full theme such as Honeycomb Fusion would have apk's. included because they "themed" the individual apps.

One of those apps happened to be the browser, they themed the browser icon.

Do I use set cpu to overclock it?

Yes. Be prepared, I overclocked mine to max today and it locked up solid after a few minutes. Had to pull the battery because it was completely unresponsive. This also could be different on everyones device. Some people have no problem overclocking and then there is the other half that their devices can't handle it... I guess this is where that "all devices are not created completely equal" rule comes into play... Sort of like a car, this engine dyno's at 250 hp and the same identical one next to it dyno's at 265 hp...

This happened to me twice. I have since uninstalled setcpu with this combo, which so far I'm loving

Sounds like fun! I haven't had a problem overclocking on the other kernals I've used, hope that continues.

I knew something wasn't right, at first it was okay then a couple minutes later the screen started getting lines in it, a minute later anything I pressed didn't want to work... Then LOCKUP!

BTW, it did last long enough for me to run Quadrant just for kicks, I pulled a 1967 overclocked in case anyone is interested.

Overclocking just froze my phone, so much for my streak!

Paul, have you found a setting that works?

Keep it at the the undervolt 200-1000. Conservative.

Baked Snack was always famous for his overclocking kernels but even more he's known for his battery life which he has stated is not at its fullest potential yet...

So far I'm liking it. Here is a couple issues I've had: 1. Over clocking freezes my phone. 2. Wireless tether doesn't work, I had the one from the maker on my phone and when that one didn't work I tried one of the experimental ones that made my phone boot loop. 3. My swift key keyboard FC.

Now for the good, it's smooth snappy, every thing else works well. I haven't had it long enough to comment on the battery life, but I'm sure that will be good as well. It's a keeper.
