Downloading it now, seems to be a big download like .8, not sure why the download is so slow either. Just got my new modem today and I have been testing right at 30 MBps today, so it shouldn't take an hour if all was right in the world. Oh well, probably flash it in the morning then.

it's 310MB, so it's a full Rom...if it were a patch--it'd be ridiculous

flashed it--pretty nice. plus i now have my GPS accuracy back (something i couldn't get with MIUI)

only problem---and a big one--is that i can not get any touchscreen functionality while the phone is charging. can't unlock it==renders the phone useless.
the power button still works while charging, but that's it. this makes me wonder if i'll even be able to switch over to USB Storage from 'Charging' when i plug the phone into the computer.

update: turns out it was the charger. i plugged the USB cable into another charger & can access the phone via the touchscreen just fine.

Wipe Data, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik Cache... flash new ROM... just like you would if you come from any other ROM.

Go to Settings > About phone > look around for Baseband version numbers... it's long numbers... check out the "Latest Radio's" link... if you go to this ROM your number should match up with at least the Gingerbread radio's listed... the last one is the latest radio that the official Thunderbolt is running with the Gingerbread OTA ROM... and it works fine with my TB with this ROM.

Always read the developer's notes... which in this case says:

**May want to consider a clean wipe.

You can always try not wiping, but don't complain if you don't!!!

Just found out that Adrynalyne is getting the Nexus

Does this mean no more BAMF for our Bolts? I was hoping to see a BAMF ICS ROM

Does this mean no more BAMF for our Bolts? I was hoping to see a BAMF ICS ROM

Maybe he will just change the ROM name to something else for his TB ICS ROM.... but it's also why I purchased a 1 yr contract for my TB... I knew things were changing way too much with dual core, GB, ICS, and more just around the corner when the TB was released.

Bamf is also picking up support for the rezound. Thunderbolt support will continue.

I loaded bamf 10 about 3 hours ago. Can't find a bug yet! If I had to be critical I would mention it takes quite a while to get up to speed after a restart. It lags at first then speeds up after using it a while. Gallery effects works fine now!

Yeah I got it on a 1 year too, but I was hoping to see a Nexus quad core phone by the early half of next year sometime. That's not likely to happen with the Galaxy Nexus coming out just now though. My upgrade is in late January so I may just shell out for the current Nexus at that time, rather than wait until this time next year for the quad core version.

I'm in no hurry to ditch my Bolt, but if most of the developers are moving on to other phones I may have to go along with them.
