battery and AOD

how much does the AOD drain on the battery? AOD was much better on my moto phones because it only turned on when you looked at screen or motioned over it. LG is always on. is there any way to change this? feel like it doent help the battery at all being on like that

I use it and love having it as an option and notice no battery drain. Meaning I get a day and a half of battery life between charges.

I've found it to be a couple percentage points an hour beyond what I would typically lose whilst in standby. I don't really use it, so this is just based off of when I tried it when I first got the phone.

You can put it on a schedule. I have mine off for 6 hours while I'm normally sleeping.

Using mine as a beside clock, AOD is on all night. Battery drain 7 or 8% for a typical 8 hour night.
