Well, just got my new Evo 3d. Haven't activated it yet since I'm waiting for my case & screen protector to arrive. Besides tweaking the settings/schemes, I've had the following issues:

1. Battery cover is a b*tch to get off. I feel like the cover is going to snap in half, especially over the camera buttons area. Anybody got an easy way to take it off?

2. Stupid camera froze up the phone. Had to remove the battery to restart. Has this been fixed with an OTA update yet?

3. Pin-hole speck of light between home key and the 2nd key thingy. What happened to quality control?

4. I charged the phone to full (green light), turned all programs/radio/gps/wifi off, then powered the phone OFF. A few hours later I happened to pick up the phone and noticed it felt really warm. When I powered it back on, the battery was down to 1/2. WTF... why is the phone chugging battery juice when it's OFF?

for the battery cover i usually start to pry off the bottom( where the small hole is to get your nail in ) then spin the phone over where the top is up, then squeeze the sides(very very lightly) of the cover(or use your nails) while pulling off and it never bends weird and comes off easy everytime. takes some practice but to me its just as easy as taking the cover off the evo 4g

edit: ill try to post a video in a few mins

edit: video up
