Battery death on new nexus 7

Had the tablet a week, all running ok, in morning flickered on and showed battery fully in the red, then died and will not recharge. Tested charger - ok. Tablet screen showed icon of halfcharged battery for a while but now nothing at all. Guess it has to be returned.

My guess is you tried a hard reset?

and unlike apple crap, the battery is removable, so you could check the internal connection...
