Battery draining fast

My wife has a Samsung S3mini which has suddenly gained MDNSD which has been draining her battery fast. She does not have firefox or any drone software and has done a turn off, full charge and restart. We've looked online but they all seem to focus on the above apps which we don't have.It would be nice to solve this before it drives us to far bonkers.

Got to the Wipe Cache Partition , selected then pressed power button. Quickly the fallen robot appeared, with red asterisk on chest, underneath was the word Error, then it restarted.

You can remove cache files from the Phone memory and Card memory. Also check for unwanted apps insalled in the device.
