Battery draining while charging

I noticed that while I charge my phone the battery percent goes down even though it is in the charger.

That usually means that your phone is using more power than supplied by the charger. Are you using the supplied charger that came with the phone, or a different one?

Something is eating up power on that phone, at the very least I'd reboot it to see if that helps, though with your battery that low you may want to charge it for a few minutes with the phone shutoff before powering it back on...

Are you connecting to a charger, or to a computer? Either way, try the other, and try using a different USB cable.

my battery life has been horrible and really slow charging times since Verizon last updated the phone....i feel your pain

I am using the charger it came with. I connect it to an outlet. I tried a different usb and it charging now.
