Battery life, am I being dramatic?

Thanks Macklesdaddy,
I definitely should have done that!

I thought maybe this was the start of a general "battery life" thread.
And sometimes people get mad if you start a new thread instead of piggybacking onto an already existing thread on the same topic.

In hindsight, I definitely should have started a new one.
Sorry about that.

ScotchRocks: something is running all night, as your 25% overnight drain is not even close to normal. On my T-Mobile version, I will lose 3-4% over 7 or 8 hours, and that's with the edge night clock running.

You might try installing the app Better Battery Stats, fully charge the phone, and after a few hours of non-use (like overnight) look at the CPU States show that the phone is mostly in deep sleep. Overnight, it should be about 85% or so in deep sleep, with the rest when the phone wakes up from its Doze mode and the apps sync. When I've had a rogue app running, I can see the phone never going to deep sleep and once you find it, you will see dramatically better stand-by time

It seems that you have a very weak, or even nonexistent, cell signal. This could be one of the causes for the battery drain.

I don't think so. I only get 1 bar where I leave my phone overnight and I lose about 0.4% per hour overnight. It's about 0.8% per hour with AOD enabled. However, I don't have WiFi or Mobile data enabled. From the screenshot posted by ScotchRocks, it looks like WiFi is enabled - perhaps something is continuously trying to sync/update overnight?

EDIT: have a look at my musings here:

Thanks for your advice!
Had a busy weekend but hope to spend time this week figuring out what's going on.
I will update when I have more info!

My battery life is terrible too. It does not get me through the day. I bought a Mophie juice pack and now it is good, but the phone is very heavy.

I have a problem with reception as well. The phone is on Verizon. I have never had so many dropped calls and it is useless in the house. I want to talk on my phone and it is frustrating. I returned one phone already for the same issue. This one is better, but not near where it should be.

I'm thinking of doing a factory reset to see if that helps. I don't think I had this problem from day 1. It started after a month or so. No idea why. But I'm keeping the phone on Power Saving mode all day which is ridiculous.
