Battery life and replacement

I bought my GN 2014 last summer and have used it at least once everyday. I still use it every day but notice I have to recharge more often. This morning I got to work on 100%. I began using it around 2pm. I only did web browsing (no videos, no music, no games). Just strictly browsing. As of of 415, it was down to 7%. I must say, I have BT on and Location on.

So I just placed an order for a new battery (Power99). Wondering if anyone has replaced their battery and if this was normal. I'd figure about a year, you're going to lose a lot of life in the OE battery.

2014 last summer ... 7%
That gives you a battery life of about 6-7 months. If you want the battery to last the longest time possible, charge it at 50% charge. (40% won't shorten the live too much.) If you charge at 50%, you should want at least one newer generation of tablet before you have to replace the battery, maybe 2. (My V551 - it has a camera and a phone number list, but that was great stuff in 2004 - is still running on its original batteries. [I always have 2 batteries for a phone.] Not much use, but I can still use it as a phone and a "sort of camera" if the main phone has to go in for repair, or if I'm going to be in a risky situation. [$20 to replace it would be getting close to a ripoff.])

My SM-P605 is now 18 months old. I use it daily for about 4 to 5 hours surfing various forums. It normally requires a recharge every second day. I normally recharge at 20%. I have a stable wifi network and rarely use gsm networks.
