Battery life, good. RAM Management BAD. Downright awful.

I've had the Note 9 for about 18 months now, and it has been a mostly positive experience. I always feel there's just something that needs tweaking in the software that never gets done right.

Enter Android 10. Our last major software update. I'm okay with it being the last, but not in this state. Being it is the last I did a factory reset for safe keeping, and surprisingly, battery life is actually better on 10 than on 9. I'm at 87% with reported 33 hours left remaining which is great. On 9, I would have maybe 25 hours left (which is still good, but standby time seems better on 10)

What is not good is this horrible RAM management. All I have open is WhatsApp and Android Central and am using up 4.3 GB.

I had 5 apps total at one point (Instagram, PowerAmp and Outlook) and all three got kicked out of memory.

In fact apps are always getting kicked out of memory. What is the point of having 8 GB of RAM when the phone can't even hold 5 LIGHT applications in memory. This wasn't a major problem on 9.

I feel like the memory management was never great, but now it's just awful.

I'm not going to factory reset again because this isn't an issue related to it. It's this damn Android 10.

Being the final resting place for the Note 9, what are the odds of getting performance patches included? Because this is not the way to end a "flagship" device. Has anyone ever got any legit responses with Samsung.

I'd love to file a complaint if others are doing so, so we can get a patch we deserve. But sometimes even that seems like a waste of time.

I'm curious to how many people are experiencing this issue.

Would love to see screenshots.

I don't experience any problems with RAM management with 6GB of ram. However, even with a new factory battery installed last month, I am noticing my having to recharge more frequently... and... trying to figure out SOT on Android 10 is almost impossible to get it accurately done. Android update really messed up battery usage monitor with the Android 10 update.
