Battery life in pixel 3?

I am sure it will be optimized, however, asking for battery life on an unreleased phone is hard to answer.

Not just the OS, the 845 is more efficient than the 835. If it gets better battery life than the XL that will be something my P2XL lasts days. I rarely charge it unless in the vehicle.

I used the 3 for a few months, 3 XL I've only had about 7 hours.

Well I understand your point. I wasn't asking for a immediate answer as I was curious like everybody to know how it'll be cause I have a pixel XL for nearly 2 years and going by the price I thought it'll be better to go for pixel 3 since it got a bump in the battery than last year's pixel 2 than 3 xl

I think both phone will have almost the same battery life, with pixel 3 XL being a little better.... Because pixel 3 has a smaller battery but with less resolution (FHD) and the 3xl has more battery, a larger screen and more resolution (QHD). I just wanna know how Google make the XL model of this year with less battery than last year's XL model. I know it has more otmization and all but it's still less than last year...

I think the small Pixel 3 will have the better battery life compared to the Pixel 2 because the battery capacity is bigger now. Not for the Pixel 3 XL because this battery is smaller than last year. We will see.

3xl should have better battery life than the 2xl. Battery is ever so slightly smaller, but 845 instead of 835.
