I'm just curious for all of you 3 and 3 XL owners out there, how many of you leave your percentage indicator on? I like being able to see my battery, but routinely I get amazing battery life and am wanting the extra space and may not need the indicator.
....But what if my battery starts being bad in retaliation? Lol jk it wouldn't... 🤔 Anyway, yourselves?

I always leave my battery percentage turned on. I love seeing the icon plus the percentage for more fine-tuned info on the screen.

You're right though, the 3 XL with adaptive battery and adaptive brightness, gets amazing battery life!

I used to leave mine on, but due to the notch, it takes up too much space not allowing for other status icons. Battery % is shown on the lock screen AOD anyway...

I leave mine off. I can tend to obsess over battery life and so far it's been exceptional on my 3. If you had the option of the icon or percentage, then I'd go with percentage.

On my Pixel 2, I've hidden my battery percentage indicator. I'll still check it by pulling down the drop-down menu; but seeing the indicator 24/7 would make me nervous!

Always ON. If I slip up and forget to charge, I need to know it before I leave the house so I can slip my Anker Battery Bank in my back pocket. And yes, that's happened! And yes, my Anker Battery Bank has saved the day more than once!

It's definitely nice to be aware. I feel like I check my battery percentage multiple times a day.

Reading this thread just convinced me to turn off the %. I also obsess over the battery % and I think not seeing the actual # might help me obsess less lol. Going to test this out for a few days and see.

Well, that's certainly one way to look at it.

It was a little weird for me not to have it at first, but now I'm really enjoying not seeing it all the time. I'll check when I went/need to, but at least it's not always there; making me nervous!

Does anyone know how to remove the battery icon and just have the percentage? I doubt there's a way but I figured I'd ask. It's not in system UI Tuner either.

I would love to be able to do that. That's another reason I leave my percentage off. To me it seems redundant to have both.
