At what percentage should you charge your phone and at what percentage would you stop charging your phone?

I've been charging it up to 100%

That's really good if you turn off AOD you would have even better battery life

No need to turn it off but to extend battery life I just keep my phone face down and it keeps it off until needed.

How does the battery life on the S9 and S9+ compare to that on the S6 and Note 5? I'm currently using a Note 5 and it's okay. Needs about 2 full charges to get through the day. I had an S6 but it was absolutely abysmal. It literally needed 4 full charges each day. Thanks

I switched from S6 to dual sim S9+ exynos... battery life is of another age... cellular reception is super solid from both sims and with 4g and sync and location and aod on i am getting 5 and half hours of SOT...

On the S6 I barely would make it to 2 and half hours with everything off

I had my phone off the charger since 4:20am I was on 3% by 3:04pm with screen brightness almost all the way up sync on location services on very happy with s9+

I am very satisfied with this bad boy. It's much better than my S6, and if I used that from 100% to 0% continuously i could get maybe 3 hours out of it. Mind you that when it was new I could only get about 5 hours out of it. I can easily get 10 hours of constant usage on this (have not been able to test that ) and this morning I took my phone off the charger at 730am, didnt use it much until about 5pm, used it for music and social media at 5pm and then used it a lot from 9-1030pm and now I'm at 32%. It says I probably have about 4 hours left too. Wow!! 19 hours on light usage and 8- 10 hours on constant usage. I'm happy with that.

I switched from S6 to S9 last week. The difference in battery life is like next generation. My S6 was terrible at the end. Half an hour of Google Maps on a sunny day with auto brightness was taking 50% of the battery. You can feel it's 4 years of difference with S9. Same scenario takes 8%. I'm super happy with the upgrade.

This is good to hear. I have the S6 still, and am seriously considering the S9+.

Got the S9 Saturday but today was the first day I used it more normally and stayed of the charger for any top ups. This is my S9 not a Plus.

I'm coming from an iPhone X so while not quite as good I find this not too bad actually.

Should get a little better yet with a few more charge cycles and the newness wears off a bit.
