It seems like you have a really bad battery... Even a defective one? I would go to the store you bought it at and get a brand new device.. The battery is supposed to last much longer than that, even on very heavy use!

Pretty good. Phone is 10 days old. 8 recharge cycles done. Wifi, mobile data and gps has been on forever.

Update: Time since last charge 1 day 10 hr. Battery level remaining 9%.

It's not letting me post the current screenshot. Mssg displayed "missing required parameters". Why so?

How do I get to the onscreen charging time?

The most screen time I get is about 3 hrs 35 min, and sometimes 4
I really don't get how some people are getting more than 4 hrs

That seems terrible for a phone with a 2600mAh battery, I think that with time, Samsung will optimize the software and people will begin to see 5:00+ screen times. My galaxy nexus with its power hungry screen/processor gets 3:00 with only a 1750mah battery.

This is where I hope this new phone doesn't let me down. Coming from a Razr Maxx, these screen shots all look horrible to me. This is from my Maxx, no battery saving modes, and using the phone like it gives me breath.... uploadfromtaptalk1369880493928.jpg

The thing is the features and knowing what to turn off to get the most of the battery. I have GPS constantly on so that might be the cause of it

I've noticed when I'm on WiFi all day I could easily get to 4 hours of screen time but once I get to work I start to struggle.

I'm currently at 29% with 2 hours of screen time and the phone has been on for 14 hours

I'm currently at just over 3 hours on screen time and 16 hours total and my battery is sitting at 18%. I do have push email running all day to though, and that is probably about 50 emails or so. GPS and location services full on as well.

I tracked down several apps that were working/sincing in the backround taking up battery AND data! I Shut down S-voice, WiFi Now and only give auto sinc to apps I need to update regularly, others like podcatchers I manualy sinc. I set the screen to 50% and leave WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth on all the time and use Smart Stay, Air view, and Air gesture, but turning these off may help also! I usually have no problem getting 17- 20 hrs on a charge with some reserve and have stretched it to 1 1/2 days when I absolutely had to but wouldn't want to push it that far all the time! Most of my usage tends to be internet, texting, and podcasts with a few calls sprinkled in.
Remember, your carrier performance is going to be a BIG factor on how ANY phone battery is going to last!
Also, anyone can play around with the phone usage to make their Battery usage screen shot LOOK good! The key is getting satisfactory battery life for the way YOU use you device!
Cheers

Tried to see how long I could go without plugging it in. As you can see, the thing stayed charged for over a day and a half.uploadfromtaptalk1369890307784.jpg.
