Battery Life Screen Captures.

I don't find mine that excellent.

Fully charged at 10pm+, slept and used the phone 7am+ using data (internet, Facebook, Line App messaging, no streaming of videos) then already 1% at 1pm+. My battery is "Cell made in Japan, Assembled in China".

I'm starting to think I have a defective battery pack. I bought an extra just now Samsung battery "Made in Korea" and I'll observe if it would make a difference.

Hey, can you check my battery. I barely go on internet, always on wifi, always on power saving mode, brightness below 50%, no gaming, listen to music for around 45-60 mins. I've seen people go 18 hours, but for my phone seems at this rate bad. after 25 minutes of going on and off browsing this page, its down to 76%.

People who say they get 2 days+ with this phone are bs'ing you. They either don't use their phone, or use it very lightly. I love this phone, but battery life is Ok. Not too shabby, but may be because i actually use my phone. My brightness is usually around 50%. I throw all types of crap it(emulators, phone calls, Internet, games, music, etc), you know, the usual. :thumbup:

Battery life is awesome. Auto Brightness, All smart features on and watching Youtube for like 30 minutes and browsing the rest of the time.

I listen to music most of the day on my phone so that's probably a big cause of the drop

7 hrs... My battery I definitely can't complain though... I have air view on, power saving mode off, 30% brightness

I feel like I'm getting pretty good battery life.

I have disabled a few items per this post: Bloatware thread - xda-developers
Amazon: Kindle, MP3, Appstore
Caller Name ID, Google Pay Music, NFL Mobile, Polaris Office 5, S Health, S Translator, S Voice, Samsung WatchON, Story Album Widget
Verizon: Tones, VZ Navigator

I use Brightness Level (by CurveFish) that I got from Google Play - I have it set for 25% unless I'm outside, then I need to go up to 50%
I prefer this to Auto Adjust - I feel like Auto Adjusting all the time is somehow draining my battery.

I have:
air view off
power saving mode off
screen time out @ 30 seconds

How do you guys get such good battery life on this phone?? I came from an iPhone 4s which I used to comfortably get about 16 hours on (which is fine by me as my usual day is about 13 hours. On this phone I could barely squeeze in 14 hours. I always run out of battery before I get back home from work. I have all the fancy Galaxy features off and just have wifi, gps, and data on. Have auto brightness on. Really don't understand how people are getting so much battery life on this phone.

That is very very good. 5:30 screen time is really nice.

Wow that's good to know. Its my only source of Internet so it's on a lot. I just toggle things on as I need to use them and disabled things I don't use at all.

What are "Extended Controls"? And, can you click on the screen section and report back how much time your screen was used? (It seems like with only 5% to 6% of the battery consumed by the screen, that you must have hardly ever turned it on?!)

I hardly use my phone, so the screen is off at least 90% of the time.
