I last charged my S9 plus at 9:00 a.m. this morning fully charged. I just got out of work at 5:40 p.m. and battery is at 48% and this was with watching hulu for about an hour at lunchtime if there was any doubt from going from the note 8 to the 9 plus the battery is a lot better even on the S8 plus battery life was better than the note 8. I hated having to charge the note 8 2 to 3 times A day.

Congrats! Even though I rode on the 8+ hr sot unicorn with my note 8. :)

That's great my note 8 battery standby was awful. This is the 1st note I've dumped since having a note since the Note 2. I thought I would miss it but with the screen size being so close it doesn't make a difference.

That's good to hear. I'm still setting mine up so my battery is getting a beating. I'm most pleased that the phone will charge in the built in wireless charger my car has. The Note 8 was a little to big for it and wouldn't work. But the s9 plus works just fine. Very exciting for me.

Superb on the S9 on a full day one. Worked it hard with full screen resolution, brightness about 70%, 3 1/2 hours of screen on time, bluetooth all day, hour of prime music streaming, hour of mobile hotspot, always on display. 14 hours of battery so far with just under 20% left.

Works for me...

Which chipset? Snapdragon 845?

Ya I'm impressed with it so far too. Factory unlocked model SD845. First full days use...

How is the standby time on your device, do you lose a lot of battery overnight?

So far I can't tell. I am currently working overnight shifts and so I have only left the phone idle with AOD on for about 3-4 hrs at a time. From my perspective I would say no right now. However, I have disabled many apps and certain services that I will never use. So my standby drain might not really be comparable to the next.

lol, a buddy of mine has his already and keeps sending me similar screen shots of his battery performance ;)
