battery life sucks!

My car can do 230 km/h if I really push it. It can really achieve that speed even if is is a family sedan.
But, my gas tank will be emptied mighty fast unfortunately.
Also, it got me out of a really bad situation on an really bad country road. The road was flooded and closed to traffic.
But had to wash it for 30 minutes to get all the mud and rocks from beneath and I thought I had to change everything from front to end. I was lucky.

Nowadays, I travel at a max speed of 130 km/h on highways and the fuel consumption is more than decent. I also avoid dirt roads, even if my car can do more.
I learned it's limits and I would sound foolish on any car forum if I would complain about my gas mileage while I floor it.

There's minimal usage, average usage, above average usage and anything in-between. Then there is sometimes unexplainable battery drain which can happen to anyone for a variety of reasons. We don't what the cause is for the above average drain that the OP posted.

I can only say this.........my S9 which I have had just short of 5 weeks has been the best at long battery life with an original battery that I have ever had. Hands down. Had two iPhones when iPhones were young, then went to Samsung beginning with an S3, then a S4, then a S7 and now a S9 just to give some perspective. Still using my S7 as we speak, and it just so happens that after 2.5yrs I'm bringing it down to Samsung for them to install a new battery. Hoping to see a big difference, but time will tell.

I have a one year old HTC U11 and I never turn off GPS or WIFI. I stream music to a Bluetooth speaker all day, 10 hours, using mobile data. I take phone calls, text and read news and notifications. I am in the middle of a four story building all day.

At the end of my 10 hour shift, my battery is around 50 to 55%. I tried turning off GPS and WiFi to see if that would make a difference and it did not. I get complaints that GPS is off.

I was looking at getting an S9 but if Samsung cannot handle running GPS and WiFi all day without killing the battery then something is wrong and this isn't the phone for me.

Yeah HTC U11 a great phone. Good software fast and snappy, great battery life and a good camera too.

I definitely see a decrease over the past few months. I get about 4 hours of SoT. Used to be 5.5. it was a gradual decline from my perspective.
