Battery Life Thread

Still having a large wakelock percentage going to WifiOffDelayIfNotUsed, but even still I have had very good battery life. I went to bed with 63% and woke up with 51%. That was alarming, but I have over 7 hours screen on time and 24 hours off the charger.

Today I was 11hr, 2hr screen, 30% left. I am going to factory reset, and see if that will help. My first 2 days were great, but the last few have been bad. Ive been reading a lot of great battery life posts.

Does this seem similar to what everyone else is experiencing? I feel like my phone radio usage is abnormally high and really draining the battery, especially since I don't even have that much screen on time.

Over the weekend I got 30 hours use with 10% left (estimate of 2 hours left).
That was with moderate use (a few games, using gps a couple times for about 45 minutes a time, internet)

I've turned it off for about a week now, haven't seen any negative affect, google map still works just fine. LTE and phone reception are fine as well.

Same here. I also turned down my screen to 60% and saw huge improvements.

One question, Is there an app that will auto turn on wifi say when I get to work and then shut it off when I leave? I'm trying to set this thing up to consume as little as possible and I usually forget to toggle it and BT on and off.

Hey guys,

Will having wifi on all day (but mobile / data radios off) severely affect my battery life? I'm traveling so I have airplane mode on 24/7, and wifi on about 85% of the day. I'm making it to 24 hrs every day with about 2.5 hrs of screen time, 0 calls. Mostly just web browsing and facebook surfing. I just wanted to know if this sounded normal.

Tasker.

Best charge yet with this phone.

Does the Verizon G2 have that screen? I would love to know what my signal strength percentages are. No issues but it would be interesting to see.

Yes it does. Well if you have that GSam app. It's on the main screen when you open the app. Just select phone radio.

I feel like my "held awake" and "wakelock" numbers are unusually high...any comments? Thinkin about downloading wakelock detector to help find out what's going on. Other than that...great battery life I'd say. :) MUCH better than my iPhone 5. :P
